I’m a Registered Psychologist who will work in partnership with you to help explore the roadblocks to becoming your best self. My goal is to help you work towards and learn practical ways to make your happiness a priority.
My work focuses on moving towards a more confident you, in order to feel better about yourself and allow you to cope with struggles such as addictions, anger, anxiety, depression or adjusting to life changes. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to focus on the “here and now” and psychodynamic therapy to explore experiences from childhood that could be impacting present issues. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is clinical intervention focused on resolving distressing or traumatic memories as well as trained in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD treatment.
I believe that a successful counseling outcome is the client’s commitment to the counseling process coupled with a connection to a supportive and competent therapist.
